How does a vehicle service contract work?
VSC typically offers coverage defined in the terms of elapsed time or mileage, whichever comes first. So, contracts may be for so many months (i.e. 36, 60, or 84) or miles in the thousands (36, 60, or 84). The terms, both months and mileage, typically start when the VSC is purchased. So a VSC purchased for 36/30 vehicle with 60,000 miles on the odometer on June 9, 2019 would cover the vehicle until the odometer read 90,000 or until June 9, 2022, whichever came first.
Agreement Terms
Actual Cash Value, is the trade-in value of the vehicle immediately prior to breakdown as determined by the most recent National Auto Dealers Association value for a vehicle in average condition, adjusted for mileage.Limits of liability, is the total liabilities for all benefits paid under the Purchaser Agreement, shall not exceed the actual cash value of the vehicle at the time of repair with the following exceptions.

What is the voucher for?
The voucher entitles the customer the benefits included under the contract provided to them at the time of sale. A voucher must be provided to redeem service.

This agreement is non-cancellable or transferable unless required by state law.
How does a vehicle prepaid maintenance work?
A vehicle prepaid maintenance provides required services to meet the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule. The service generally incorporates oil and filter changes, tire rotation, alignments, maintaining fluids, changing spark plugs, and inspecting various mechanical parts, including: axles, ball joints, belts, brake lines, brake hoses,brake pads and rotors, calipers, exhaust systems,fuel systems, steering assembly and linkage and wiper blades.

How does a Guaranteed Asset Protection work?
GAP transfers the risk related to the value of the vehicle when it is totaled or stolen being less than the outstanding balance due on the financing. Gap is most often structured as a waiver where the financing company agrees to waive the balance due when the vehicle is totaled. Gap is also structured as an insurance contract. In either case, the balance of the loan is paid.

Actual Cash Value, at the date of loss means, (1) the Actual Cash Value established by the Primary Insurance company, (2) in the absence of Primary Insurance, the retail value of the vehicle (per NADA or equivalent market value evaluation manual).Commercial Usage, means utilization of the Vehicle for any commercial purpose. An automobile, van, or light truck utilized for any commercial purpose is excluded unless the Commercial Usage surcharge option has been purchased.
